Rich’s career has been marked by senior roles in operating companies and investment bank in technology, finance, and transportation sectors.  As Chairman of Yieldbroker since January 2012, he’s led this Australian financial exchange to its final sale to Tradeweb in September 2023.  He also co-founded and was CEO of Lava Trading from inception to its acquisition by Citigroup Inc., later becoming a Managing Director there.  Rich has also contributed as Senior Advisor to Lightyear Capital, and held key positions at The Receivables Exchange.  Rich began his career at NeXT Computers, started by Steve Jobs and later acquired by Apple. Rich has been awarded several patents in the area of trading technologies.  Rich earned a BSE in computer science and electrical engineering from Princeton University.
